All right, so, first of all, I never expected something as bad as this would happen. The sky was as blue as a blueberry as if something bad was going to happen. The sky filled with the sound of screeches.
Ding Dong! The door said as we went out of the dojo. We saw every car with a color you would imagine. There were blue, red, orange, white, and so on. We were heading to our car. The car was as red as my brother’s face when he tried to eat a hot chili pepper. When I was about two, I thought that cars had a mind of their own. I know. I was being stupid. It seemed like every car was unique with a shape/color of their own.
Just then, I realized that I was not wearing my glasses. Oh shoot, I thought.
“Dad, can I get my glasses?” I asked curiously.
“Sure, go ahead.” My dad replied as I went out the door.
A few seconds later, I found myself on the pathway running toward the road. I was in the road when I turned my head to see a white Toyota car. My stomach started to twist. As soon as the car touched my body, my body reacted instantly. My upper muscles started to push the car as hard as I could. The car was going too fast that I was sent to the air. I twisted my body to my left side so that I wouldn’t receive serious impact. While I was in the air, I started to black out. Just as I almost touched the ground, I became conscious once again. The good news was that I’ve learned Judo and I was trained for this moment. First, my legs touched the ground. Then while my upper part of my body was touching the ground, my left hand slapped the ground while my right hand on my stomach. The bad news was that I started to slide over the cement. My left ankle started to burn. I ran as fast as I could to my Judo dojo just in case another car ran over me.
Ding Dong! I entered the room. I fell to the ground without any energy left. The first thing I did was check myself to see if I had any broken bones. Luckily, I didn’t. A college student named J.P. which stands for John Paul came down to see me on the ground. He became worried. My dad came to see me. He asked J.P. if he could borrow his phone to dial 911. [My dad didn’t have his phone because he left it at home.] J.P. let my dad.
A few minutes later, the ambulance and the police came.
One of the questions from the police officers were, “When were you born?” and “What street do you live on?” The police officers asked my dad if he wanted me to the Hospital.
“I’m fine.” I quickly said at the right moment while standing up.
“Are you sure about this?” my dad asked me.
“Yep,” I answered convincingly while putting weight on my left leg. It hurt a little when I rolled my ankle, but I thought the pain would go away. We walked back to our car with my dad stunned. That’s exactly why I didn’t expect that. Well, at least I had my glasses.
